As a pet parent, Edith my corgi, is not just my faithful companion but also my service animal. I have been diagnosed with a rare nerve disorder called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) that can cause chronic pain. My corgi has been trained to help me manage my symptoms and provide emotional support whenever I need it. Living with a chronic illness can be challenging, but my corgi has made a significant difference in my life, and I believe that other people could benefit from having service animals too.

CRPS is a condition that affects the nervous system, causing pain, swelling, stiffness, and changes in skin color and temperature. Although there's no cure for this condition, having a service animal can significantly improve a person's quality of life. By sharing my story with you, I hope to raise awareness of this chronic illness and the importance of service animals for those living with it.
